Our Outreach Vision is to introduce, explore and inspire community through hands-on introduction, engagement, and education of music and musical concepts.

We do this:
In the classroom through the presentation of workshops, residencies and hands-on education and practice.
In the community through performance, demonstration, and as guest artists at resource fairs, festivals, community events and public arenas.
At NMS through community events, open houses, concerts, and activities.
Our Goals
Introduce musical concepts, instruments, and ideas to the community.
Spark curiosity and connection to music with the community.
Create connection and opportunity to bring new students to NMS.
Share joy and the process of music making and education.
