Travis Laughlin

Travis has taught violin and viola at Neighborhood Music School since 2010. As its Director of Ensembles, he oversees the Chamber Music Program, coaches the Baroque Ensemble, Adult Ensemble, and advanced String Quartet, and coordinates performance opportunities for students and teachers. 

Travis earned a BA in music from the University of Virginia in 2007 and an MFA  in 2013 from the USC School of Cinematic Arts. He has studied classical violin under Victoria Kehler and Constance Gee, chamber music with Mimi Bravar, and Baroque techniques with Elizabeth Blumenstock.
